Agape Hill Farm offers interactive farm visits for school field trips, community groups, and individuals with special needs. Special workshops are available in an afterschool program and during summer vacation. Single, monthly, or weekly programs are individually designed to meet the goals and interests of our visitors. With a degree in psychology and as a mom of four, Nancy has worked to make our farm a place where everyone can actively participate and grow emotionally and socially. Give her a call to see what Agape Farm can offer you.
Family Farm Visits and Field Trips
School classes, scout troops, and other groups are invited to join us for a custom-designed interactive farm visit. Depending upon the age group, curriculum focus and personal preference, activities can include:
Meeting the farm animals – this is a hands-on activity where children will take turns helping with the daily chores associated with each animal as well as learning about the animals themselves
Sustainable living – learn about gardening and composting, particularly projects that each child can do at home
Llama activities –we have trails available for hiking and also a llama obstacle course
Play and Picnic Area – bring a snack or lunch and spend time at our picnic tables, playing on the antique farm tractors and trying out some fun farm games!
Fiber crafts – learn how to use the fiber from our llamas in age-appropriate felting crafts

We are 100% committed to making Agape Hill farm an adventure for everyone. During an internship with Heartbeet Lifesharing Nancy developed a program offering interactive farm visits to individuals with special needs. While other aspects of the farm are available for use, the program primarily utilizes our llamas. Llamas are intelligent and intuitive and make wonderful companions as individuals develop life skills and work on increasing community integration.
We have llamas with a great variety of personalities and temperaments suitable for many different programs. Candidates for the program may have developmental or behavioral challenges or may just be in need of a boost in confidence. We can design a program for individuals privately or through schools or social service programs.
Nancy will be happy to schedule a no-cost get acquainted visit with the llamas and to discuss program options and possibilities. Please call her at (802) 472-3711.
